Colour Therapy Treatment

Colour therapy or chromotherapy is the process of taking the help of colours and using their frequency to help a human being heal or enhance their capabilities. Dr. Taara Malhotra told us that colour therapy is not new and goes back thousands of years.
“It is a therapy that is drawn from light as all the colours are present in it. The importance of using the right colour is an art and needs to be learned for aiming at specific targets in life. Colours balance and enhance the chakras or energy centres of our body, thus setting in the body’s healing system. The seven colours of the light spectrum resonate with the seven chakras. As each colour of light has its own wavelength, it carries its own energy.”

The Mood-Boosting Benefits of Color Therapy

Colours can be used in a number of ways and every therapist has a way of his or her own, but some methods are common. Like Dr. Taara Malhtra shared how she uses colours to help her clients in different healing methodologies.
“There are nine colours, including white and black, and as per the Indian philosophy, they represent the chakras or spiritual power centres in our bodies. In the human body and even in the universe, the energy always moves upwards. Thus, when the chakras in our body get displaced, colour therapy can come into action to help bring back the balance.”
Dr. Taara Malhotra has shared the relative significance of different colours.

If the yellow wavelength is weak, people lose the ability to work on their plans.
